What you will do:
- Ensure a smooth start and stable operation of all production lines during the shift, including proper workstation setup and readiness
- Monitor daily performance and ensure achievement of production targets (e.g. output, yield, downtime, absenteeism, scrap, and material consumption)
- Review previous day (D-1) performance, address deviations, and define and follow up on actions to achieve current shift targets
- Ensure strict adherence to work instructions, quality standards, and control procedures, including in-process and final inspections, defect documentation, and repair processes
- Identify deviations in production and quality, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions
- Supervise and guide operators to ensure compliance with best practices, proper use of tools and equipment, and protection of materials and products
- Maintain high standards of order, cleanliness, and discipline on the shopfloor (5S principles)
- Lead, motivate, and engage the team to achieve performance targets and foster a collaborative and performance-driven culture
- Ensure appropriate behavior, discipline, and alignment with company values and guidelines
- Ensure flexibility within the team (multi-skilling) to cover absences and changing production requirements
- Support training and integration of new employees
- Proactively identify operational issues and manage day-to-day challenges, including material shortages, technical breakdowns, and supply delays
- Coordinate closely with maintenance, logistics, industrialization, and other departments to ensure smooth operations
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards and actively contribute to continuous improvement in these areas
- Apply and enforce administrative procedures and internal regulations, and escalate relevant topics or improvement ideas to the line Manager
What convinces us:
- Minimum secondary education or equivalent technical qualification
- Initial experience as a Team Leader (approx. 3–6 months) or comparable supervisory role
- Solid understanding of wiring processes and production workflows
- Good knowledge of production monitoring tools and systems (e.g. SAP, KPIs, production reports)
- Basic understanding of first-level maintenance and technical troubleshooting
- Knowledge of automotive quality standards and control procedures
- Ability to quickly identify and resolve production issues
- Confident user of production-related software and standard office tools
